We are pleased to share more work from the Analysts team in the Justice and Public Safety industry. Analysts, part of the ACS Solutions team, continues to invest in the Justice and Public Safety industry with their investment of now over 20 years in the work of the IJIS Institute. IJIS is a nonprofit alliance working to promote and enable technology in the public sector and expand the use of information to maximize safety, efficiency, and productivity. Collin Evans, a Senior Architect for Analysts, is Vice-Chair of IJIS’ Technology and Architecture Committee (ITAC), which leads and contributes to the ITAC Technology Spotlight Blog Series. Collin joins several members of our Government Solutions team who volunteer their time to work shoulder to shoulder with industry practitioners to solve real work technology problems on IJIS Advisory Committees.
In the ITAC Committee’s most recent blog, ITAC Technology Spotlight Blog Series: Dark Web, Collin provides an overview of the dark web and the technologies that power it, discusses some of the ways in which people engage with it, and examines how law enforcement can more effectively investigate criminal activities taking place in the dark web. He has delved into a contemporary and relevant topic considering the scope and scale of criminal activity on the dark web, which is a rising concern for law enforcement and policymakers. With unique insights presented in a conversational tone, Collin’s blog is a compelling read.
